AIFTV Research Interactive Map: Indigenous Australian Film

The Australian Indigenous Film and Television Research project (AIFTV) have produced an interactive map that allows users to browse by location a sample of 200 film features, documentaries, shorts and TV dramas written and directed by Indigenous Australians from across Australia.

The project’s research focuses on the shape of Australian Indigenous film and television, as it has been constituted by overlapping and intersecting frames of policy, production and reception. The AIFTV Research website is designed to make the extensive amount of data we have collected and curated available for further studies and to foster the sharing of ideas, knowledge and new frames of understanding.
