Reverie (2023) lies at the nexus of the essay film and videographic criticism. In an epistolary exchange that uses a multimodal approach, the makers negotiate the tensions between dreaming and freedom to consider the concept and state of reverie as a political tool for “emancipatory dreams” and dreaming.
